TASK BASED INSTRUCTION METHOD

WHAT I LIKE FROM MY METHOD
        What I like from my method is that everybody can use it. It does not matter the age the students are, because it helps to improve the learning of the target language in very important areas, such as: new vocabulary, fluency and some others. Another thing that catches my attention is that this method requires to perform real situations, like asking information, discussing statements, giving opinions about some materials like images, videos or reflections, and performing role plays. Practicing real situations is very important, because imaging some day we might have the opportunity to go abroad to a country that speaks the target language that we are learning, so we will be able to manage the situation. Also, TBI helps students who are afraid of speaking in front of an audience, and want us to be prepare when we need to speak the target language in different situations, like giving or asking an address, making phone calls or giving speeches. It is a good method because, everyday we are around real situations in which we could be involved and we have to know how to act, and how to respond.

WHAT I DID NOT LIKE FROM MY METHOD
     I think is a good method, but i think that this method is for the people that only want to speak a target language, it helps a lot because this method make the people speak performing real situations that we can be part of. In our case TBI helps us a lot, because we need to talk, but also we need to know other things like grammar, how to pronounce the words, we have to know some rules about the target language. That is why we need to use other methods in order to get information that we need to know.

WHAT I UNDERSTOOD FROM THE OTHER METHOD
What I understood about community learning is that the student and the teacher are able to interact each other, in order to have a good communication and have a good relationship, is important to have a good relationship between the group of learners and the teacher because that will help to know the things that the students need to improve and the progress that they are getting. Moreover, the students learn to work in groups to cooperate and interact between them. It is a good method, it has a lot of activities that help a lot to develop a good interaction in the class.

    As you said, TBI is good just for the ones who would like to improve their speaking skills, but they are focusing just on that. The other areas are also important. I like that students can practice with real situations like making a phone call or some other common activities. The Community Learning Method was really nice also. Because you can help each other when someone doesn't understand and that creates a good environment between students.

Hi Edgar, I think that is a really nice method because students learn with real situations in that way they improve their pronunciation, fluency, but the problem is that they don´t improve other areas like you said that are important when you want to learn the target lenguage. On the other hand the community of learning helps their students to be more confident when they want to participate in classes and also when they want to practice with other students, The community of learning allows a good relationship in the class.

  3. Hello Edgar! yeah its a good method for developing pronunciation, and the problem its that they focuos only in that. I think that teacher have to look for the perfect situation on that way students will be prepare in all the areas..
    Talking about The community of learning is very good because classmates have a good relationship each other and if they have problems in something that the dont understand thet help each other!

    As you said, your method is really important because it allows the student to develop the good pronunciation, that is really important while teaching new language.
    also it helps the student to know new vocabulary, which is interesting for some people to manage.
    This method is an active action with the student and the teacher for the learning act.in the othr hand, the teacher must have to know when he has to incorporate.
